Amanda Rybarczyk and J. Martin had been waiting in line outside the Apple store when they realized they could head over to the AT&T store at Third and Market streets, just a few blocks away. They grabbed the pole position at this store, which had about eight people in line at 8:45 a.m. Neither plans to keep the iPhone, as "we're poor college students" at San Francisco State University. They're looking either to trade on their place in line or sell the iPhone on eBay.
