Product design engineer Jaspal Sandhu interviewed nomadic field nurses who depended on the family motorcycle to make monthly calls on their geographically scattered patients. One nurse told Sandhu that the winter climate is too dangerous for her to make visits alone, so when her husband returns from herding, the two make the rounds on a motorcycle.
