Make Fest is the science fair off-shoot of Make magazine, and now the magazine has spawned another publication, Craft, which is in its third month. Arwen O'Reilly, daughter of Make publisher Tim O'Reilly and staff editor of Craft, showed off a project highlighted in its next issue: Japanese finger puppets with wearable circuits.

Called "emoting puppets," the tiny fabric characters are sewn with LED lights, conductive thread and batteries so they can light up and display emotions such as excitement (such as a beating heart) and embarrassment (with blushing cheeks).
