Photos: Cell phone style, good and bad

The Bang & Olufsen Serene made a lot of noise when it first appeared in fall of 2006, but opinions were mixed. CNET Reviews, for example, wasn't too impressed, saying it was beautiful and elegant but "not built for practicality," because "unfortunately, form does not meet function, and the Serene is more suited to be showcased in a museum rather than carried around in your pocket."
