Photos: Domestic tech trends

LG has its own version of the TV-in-a-fridge. Besides displaying television programs, it also gives wireless weather forecasts, keeps a calendar, has a bank of preloaded recipes and, via the USB port, can play photo slide shows. Both LG and Samsung introduced TV-fridge combos several years ago, and both have brought them back recently, citing a "pent-up demand" among consumers for innovative and fashion-forward products for the home.
