The LG TROMM SteamWasher, like many large domestic appliances coming out of Korea and Europe, has beauty and brains. Designed with fashion in mind, the stackable, front-loading washer and companion dryer goes beyond basic white, with offerings such as bright blue and cherry red.
Color is hot, according to LG's director of digital appliances, and 30 percent of what LG sells comes in a hue other than vanilla white. The SteamWasher also has the option to add a steam rinse cycle, which saves both water and detergent while still cleaning fabric.
