Disney is out with a new line of digital-image products for kids, including digital cameras, camcorders and a keychain picture locket. The devices have simple features and are priced to sell, but have limited capability, probably making them more appropriate for younger children than curious 11-year-olds.
The smallest and cheapest in the line is the Disney Pix Micro (pictured). The $19.99 camera is 6.5 inches by 2.5 inches by 1 inch, comes with a limited-function LCD screen and holds 24 photos at CIF digital resolution (extremely low). The camera takes one AAA battery and comes with the Disney Pix editing software.
