Images: Social-networking sites for collegians

It's not a social-networking site, per se, but Zoho is a collaborative document system so that you and your lab partners or study group can work together on spreadsheets, presentations, documents and all kinds of other academic endeavors. Plus, you can do group chats through Zoho's in-browser client.

If you happen to go to school in a location where temperatures plummet come October, this is a great way to not have to trek through the snow to the library for group project work.
