Given the huge public interest in Google Maps' new Street View feature--which offers a 360-degree view of many streets in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Las Vegas and other cities--CNET News.com asked readers to send in their favorite images from the service. For part two of this inquiry, we asked for Street View images that offered some clue as to the date (or the approximate date) they were shot. Many sleuthing readers sent in this image from Times Square in New York, in which the news ticker displays a headline about NFL great Brett Favre's 400th career touchdown. We know that sports milestone happened on September 23, 2006, according to this USA Today article.
