Images: Google's street-level view

May 29, 2007 3:13 PM PDT

Google's new Street View feature allows people to see street-level photographs for many addresses. For now, it appears that the company has only gotten to major metropolitan areas like the San Francisco Bay Area and New York. The feature allows people to zoom in and see, for example, cars in driveways from a street-level perspective rather than the satellite view.

Here is a view of Google's headquarters in Mountain View, Calif., as seen from the street.
