These are pages from Hilary Horlock's family history book written by her father Peter Horlock that she created for him as a gift on his 80th birthday using Blurb software. Both Sides of the Ocean features his memoir from his childhood spent in Canada during World War II where his family sent him to escape the London bombing, as well as photos of his real family and his adoptive Canadian family and letters his mother wrote to him and to his adoptive mother describing life in wartime England.
