Seagate's DriveTrust encryption technology is built into this Momentus 5400 FDE.2 drive, which is slated for release early next year. The 2.5-inch, 5,400-RPM drive's hardware-based, full-disk encryption carries out all the cryptographic operations and access control within the drive.
