Ron Paul addresses crowd

Ron Paul addresses a cheering crowd of thousands at the Rally for the Republic in Minneapolis on Tuesday, about 10 miles from the official Republican convention (where Paul was not invited to speak). Paul used the chance to kick off his Campaign for Liberty, saying that he never would have imagined that so many people would be attracted to his limited-government views.

"There's something exciting in the air," Paul said. "A revolutionary spirit has erupted and it will not be suppressed. We are involved in a historic event."
