Julia Hicks, the former vice chair of the Colorado Democratic Party and a delegate, said she supported John Edwards but is now a committed Barack Obama fan, complete with a public profile on my.barackobama.com. (She said she would have supported Hillary Clinton if the former first lady had been the nominee.) Hicks talked disparagingly about the heavy police presence, saying that it was less intrusive than the 2000 convention in Los Angeles but still disappointing.
