Images: Kids get Groovy with Sibelius software

Sibelius introduced its first children's music software, Groovy Shapes, last spring. The program is designed to teach 5- to 7-year-olds basic concepts about music--such as which sounds correspond with specific instruments. In "create" mode, the software also lets young ones drag and drop various beats and melodies to compose their own song.
