One of Sunday night's performers, Saitone, a Japanese musician whose experimental techno music is enhanced by several Game Boys.
His music actually sounds like it could be part of a video game soundtrack, albeit a left-of-center one, but the musical styles exhibited at the Blip Festival were much more diverse than one might have expected. Sounds ranged from Bud Melvin's Game Boy-infused banjo music to Anamanaguchi's guitar pop.
