Bill Tai

Bill Tai, a venture capitalist with Charles River Ventures, practices his longtime passion, kiteboarding. This month, Tai will host the fourth annual Mai Tai Kite Camp in Maui, the kite-set equivalent of the old golf weekend for venture capitalists. The sport has caught on in Silicon Valley, thanks to Tai. Guests at this Maui getaway include former Googlers Georges Harik and Aydin Senkut; Matt Sanchez, founder of Videoegg; and Dave Morin, a Facebook executive who was previously with Apple.
