Photos: Oscar nods for ILM, Skywalker

The sound for dozens of films is edited and mixed at Lucasfilm's Skywalker Sound division. Skywalker offers facilities including state-of-the-art digital film consoles, which are used for mixing sound effects. The editing rooms also have high-end speaker systems better than those in most movie theaters.
