Probably the largest Christian church in the world, the Basilica of Saint Peter in Vatican City was constructed in the 1500s and has been blessed with the involvement of many of the European world's great architectural and artistic minds, Michelangelo, Bernini and Giacomo della Porta among them.

If Pope Benedict XVI would let MTV into the private papal residence, it'd make a pretty great episode of Cribs.

In Minimundus' replica, they've re-created not only the basilica but the public plaza out front, with a colonnade that represented the most esteemed architecture of the day.
