Photos: Tech makes magic at Maker Faire

The 3D sugar printer, from Evil Mad Scientists, creates 3D models made entirely of sugar. Here, the printer has created an 8-pound mobius strip and a "wood screw" that is almost as big. The machine makes the models a layer at a time, fusing the sugar to a base and then building up from there, layer by layer.
