At the South by Southwest multimedia extravaganza in Austin, Texas, Make magazine Senior Editor Phil Torrone (right) and do-it-yourself electronics pioneer Limor Fried (left) chat onstage Sunday.
The pair took the opportunity to demonstrate how to jam cell phone signals. But that was just one type of hacking the pair described. Torrone and Fried hope to usher in a new Golden Age of hardware hacking by inventing new techniques, documenting them and publishing the full details.
