The atmosphere inside the tracking headquarters at Cambridge Boat Club was hectic, and it'd be an understatement to say that the weekend's races were intense, but along the banks of the Charles the atmosphere is surprisingly tranquil. Here, two spectators make their way down the river on Segways, a form of transportation that--like Powerhouse Timing's real-time Web-based tracking--wouldn't have been present at the Head of the Charles five years ago.
