Perhaps the most famous premature obituary was this one published accidentally with a slew of others by CNN.com around 2003. The CNN pages, which TheSmokingGun wrote were discovered "by the intrepid folks at Fark.com," were yanked about 20 minutes after being exposed. They were housed in a publicly accessible area of a CNN server and searchable via Google.
