"In the 19th century, Genesee Falls in Rochester, N.Y., was a tourist attraction. With the rise of industrialism and mills during the 19th century, it became a source for power to drive factory machinery," Anderson says. "This image is comprised of about 10 tourist snapshots of the falls. The piece shows how the city of Rochester, N.Y., and its factories engulfed the natural wonder."
