Photos: Windows Server 2008 unveiled

Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer introduces Windows Server 2008, calling it the most significant release since the company's first server operating system release.

The company is also using the event to formally launch Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008, though that last product's release has been pushed back until the third quarter of this year.
