This screenshot shows some routine menu selection operation, but more subtly, the fact that the desktop background changes each hour as the day goes by. Compare it with the previous page, and you can see the colors are brighter for a computer at 4:35 p.m. than one at 11:08 p.m. This image also shows Fedora running from its LiveCD configuration, which enables a user to launch the operating system from a CD. LiveCD technology is a good way to test software without disturbing the operating system already installed on a PC's hard drive, but it also can be a first step toward installation.
