Fashion CAD/CAM

Computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programs aren't limited to the architect or bridge builder anymore. Since the 1990s, many fashion houses have been employing the same technology to cut back on material waste, production costs, and product life cycle time.

Things like artificial intelligence, better animation physics, and lifelike avatars are helping fashion companies employ faster ways to let their designers translate 3D visions into 2D materials for production across the world.
