Christian Croft, a student at New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), shows off a shoe that plays off the trend in children's shoes with built-in wheels. This model generates power when the wheel turns, making the shoe a power source.
ITP is one of the country's preeminent interactive design graduate programs, and it encourages students to work collaboratively with others who have different skills, often resulting in teams that have the ability to bring new inventions to market.
