Former U.S. President Bill Clinton was honored Thursday night at the Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED) conference with the TED Prize. Three winners a year are granted money for one wish to change the world.
Clinton's wish: to get help for his own William J. Clinton Foundation to build a world-class health care system for the undeveloped nation of Rwanda. That system is designed to ultimately be used in other third-world nations.
"We need initial up-front investments to set up IT, water infrastructure (and train community workers)," he said. "My wish is for TED to assist us in our work."
