Images: Harnessing solar via an old technology

Infinia's solar Stirling product, set for release in 2008, will generate about 3 kilowatts of electricity. It will be about 15 feet high and weigh almost 1,000 pounds. The target customers for Infinia's first solar Stirling engine are larger organizations such as city governments, which are taking advantage of financial incentives to use less-polluting forms of power generation.
