A robot successfully assisted a surgical team at New York-Presbyterian Hospital on June 16 by handing and retrieving surgical instruments during the removal of a forearm tumor. The new robot, known as the Penelope Surgical Instrument Server, was designed and developed by Robotic Surgical Tech of New York.
