PalmSource will update version 5.0 of its Palm operating system to target cell phones, company Chief Executive David Nagel said at a developer conference in Munich, Germany. The update is still in the works, the company said. PalmSource representatives declined to give many details on the update to version 5.0 of the OS, other than saying that it will be available to licensees next year.
