Apple doles out Mac promos

Apple Computer on Friday kicked off two promotions for buyers of new Macs. From now through June 30, those who buy an Apple laptop and an AirPort base station can get a $100 rebate.

In addition, those who buy a Power Mac G4 and one of Apple's larger flat-panel displays can save up to $300. That deal, which offers $200 off the purchase of a Power Mac and 17-inch screen and $300 off a Power Mac and 22-inch display, also runs through June 30.
