iMac supply appears on rise

Although Apple Computer's flat-panel iMac remains in short supply, the situation does appear to be improving. The wait times for new orders from Apple's online site have shrunk. New orders for the low-end model is listed at three to five weeks, down from five to seven weeks, while the midrange and high-end models now list an estimated shipping time of 15 days, down from three to five weeks.

San Francisco Bay Area retailer ComputerWare said Thursday that it has received hundreds of all three models and has them all in stock today at its five stores.
