Handspring inks mobile software deal

Handspring announced on Monday its partnership with mobile software maker Neomar. The move adds to the handheld maker's recent string of wireless alliances. Such partnerships are part of Handspring's attempt to attract more business from corporations.

The two companies will work on joint product evaluation, testing and training, and marketing and sales of Handspring's upcoming Treo devices and Neomar's software. San Francisco's Neomar creates software that allows customers to securely send and receive data using a wireless device.
