Short Take: Dreaming of big Dreamcast sales

Sega announced that pre-orders for its upcoming Dreamcast gaming console are on target to outpace early sales for previous Playstation devices from rival Sony. Dreamcast will be available in more than 15,000 retail stores and will also be sold through 6,000 electronic kiosks, Sega said. The $199 Dreamcast includes a 56-kbps modem and Pentium II processor and will officially be released in the U.S. on September 9.
