Sprint, Verizon add e-mail access

American carriers Sprint PCS and Verizon Wireless are selling a product from Wireless Knowledge that lets people access Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes e-mails using wireless devices such as cell phones, the companies announced Wednesday.

The cost will be $4 a month per user of the software, which is called WorkStyle, according to a spokesman for Wireless Knowledge. The company is jointly owned by Microsoft and Qualcomm.
