Short Take: Accelerated Networks increases IPO

Accelerated Networks increased its initial public offering by 18 percent, and the maker of products to speed up telecommunications now plans to raise $52 million in a share sale tonight. Accelerated plans to sell 4 million shares at between $11 and $13 through Credit Suisse First Boston, up from the previous $9 to $11. The Moorpark, Calif.-based company makes products to enable telecommunications carriers to transmit voice and data services over a broadband network.
