Short Take: Nortel completes acquisition of Qtera

Nortel Networks today announced the completion of the acquisition of Qtera for up to $3.25 billion in Nortel common shares, a portion of which is contingent upon Qtera achieving certain business objectives. Qtera, a privately held company, produces ultra-long-reach optical networking systems.
