Short Take: Israeli Net phone firm plans IPO in U.S.

Israeli RadVision, which makes software for Internet, phone and video systems, plans to raise about $50 million in an initial stock sale in the U.S. to expand its sales network. Tel Aviv-based RadVision sells software to companies such as Cisco Systems that provide equipment for Internet video and voice networks. RadVision is competing with Lucent Technologies unit Elemedia and other companies as demand for Internet telephone service grows.
