How Is An "Inno" Not Like A VCR?
by sismoc December 22, 2007 3:09 AM PST
The VCR is a device which can store and record video and audio from TV.

The supreme court ruled 25 years ago that that functionality (i.e. personal use of "time-shifted" broadcasts) was legal!

Plus, unlike the VCR which allows you to keep the recorded content forever (or at least the life of the tape) the Inno/Helix will block access to recorded content within a month (I think that's the time frame) when you cancel your subscription. I know if you don't listen to XX amount of live XM content each month, it also blocks access.
