what a deal (sarcasm)
wow. that's such a good deal $2.99 for a whole chapter of a book. all this time, i've been reduced to buying entire books at the 2nd hand shop for 50cents each. because the electronic copies of books are so much more expensive to produce and distribute than paper copies, i'm surprised that they can afford to sell them for only $2.99/chapter. at that rate, you can pick up a thirty chapter book for only around $89.70. i hope big publishing doesn't put itself out of business due to its charity.

about the only better deal out there is project gutenberg which has just about every book worth reading (for free) or (for nonfiction) wikipedia which has current information (for free)

just read the book title
i just noticed the book title:

'Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die'

hmmm...maybe, it's because some ideas are freely available (like zip, javascript, .pdf, etc) whereas others have someone charging $2.99 for them.
