Short Take: Slate names new publisher

Microsoft has named Scott Moore the new publisher for its online subscription-based magazine Slate. Formerly advertising director at the software giant's travel site, Expedia, Moore replaces Rogers Weed, who will become marketing director of Microsoft's Windows CE operating system division.
