Short take: AltaVista adds Corbis greeting cards

Portal AltaVista struck a deal with Corbis, a digital image company owned by Bill Gates, to provide searches of nearly 500,000 images that can be sent as online greeting cards. The Corbis cards are accessible from AltaVista's "services" directory under "create a card" and through the Corbis Web site.
