Spider-Man goods star on eBay

Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment is auctioning off props and costumes from its new Spider-Man movie on eBay, the companies said Monday. The auction will run through May 14, and will include mounted and framed pieces of an authentic Spider-Man costume worn by Tobey Maguire, signed posters, Spider-Man webshooter and a dress worn by actress Kirsten Dunst.

More than 30,000 superhero-related items are listed on eBay. Over 13,000 of those items are Spider-Man-related, making him eBay's most popular superhero. Batman comes in second with just over 10,000 items, followed by Superman with nearly 7,000. Among the most popular superhero items are comic books, animation cels, pop culture toys and movie memorabilia.
