eBay executives to sell shares

Two eBay executives filed last week to sell thousands of shares of stock in the online auction giant. Chief Financial Officer Rajiv Dutta filed on Nov. 19 to sell 30,000 shares, valued at about $1.6 million, of eBay stock. Meanwhile, Matthew Bannick, senior vice president of eBay's international division, filed on the same day to sell about 4,000 shares of eBay stock, worth about $240,000.

The stock sales are typical of the amounts eBay executives file every quarter, said eBay spokesman Kevin Pursglove. Dutta registered to sell 30,000 shares in May as part of a $100-million sale in stock by eBay executives.
