Short Take: Amazon moves toward music sales

Online bookseller Amazon.com has taken its first public step toward opening a music store. Amazon has invited customers to help build "the music store of their dreams" and to submit CD reviews and ratings. The company did not indicate when the store will open or whether it will be operated as a separate Web site, however.
