Microsoft links SharePoint, FrontPage

Microsoft announced Monday that beta versions of two of its upcoming Office 2003 applications have been integrated to make it easier to design corporate portals, internal Web sites companies use to disseminate information to employees. The new features allow companies to use FrontPage 2003, the revamped version of Microsoft's Web authoring package, to customize the standard page designs included in Microsoft's Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 package.

The integration capabilities are included in the wide-reaching update Microsoft recently made aviable to Office 2003 beta testers.
