Short Take: CyberStar technology goes Hollywood

Loral Space & Communications' business unit CyberStar, which provides IP-based data transmission via satellite, will deliver video to hundreds of movie theaters under a deal with the National Cinema Network. National Cinema Network, one of the leading in-theater promotions and marketing companies, shows advertisements and promotions on more than 9,900 screens across the country. CyberStar's technology will allow the company to cut film and shipping costs by downloading video.
