It looks like Europe is trying to copy the American model of tracking and surveillance - except going one step further by making anonymous email accounts illegal. That last part sounds similar to a law passed by the Chinese government to prevent bloggers from using aliases.

Where have all the democracies gone? They seem to have withered away rapidly in the last few years.

Isn't the European Union model great? Boy, I can't wait until the North American Union (along with Real ID) is forced upon us by 2010.
